"I was looking for a good solid way to amplify my (Webber Gallatin) mandolin but I did not want to modify the instrument. I saw where another musician whose opinion I respected was using the Myers Mandolin Pickup, so I looked into it. It works very well on the mandolin, fiddle, and a special guitar I have --- all hand made instruments. It's technically easy to use, and sounds very transparent to my ear. I am using it with my L.R. Baggs Gigpro preamp into my Yamaha Stagepas 400i.

I have tried this mandolin pickup on my mando, fiddle and now acoustic guitar . . . LOVING IT! This is a handmade custom D-28 style by a chiefly classical maker."
